BLU S1 phone can be yours for free when you switch to Sprint
BLU has just launched its very first smartphone dedicated to Sprint network, making it compatible with both Sprint itself and the network’s prepaid subsidiaries like Boost Mobile. Just as always with BLU’s devices, the BLU S1 is sold unlocked and offers a great money-to-value ratio. If you act fast enough you can grab this cool device with a significant discount from Amazon, or completely for free if you switch to Sprint.

BLU releases a Sprint-dedicated BLU S1

BLU does not stop on unlocked GSM phones only and releases BLU S1 for Sprint and Boost Mobile. The mid-range handset is now available for purchase with a big discount or totally for free.

So far, specializing in manufacturing unlocked smartphones that sync with AT&T and T-Mobile, BLU was simply neglecting those carriers running on CDMA network. Aware of the fact that there are customers left out of the mix who might be potentially interested in BLU’s devices, the company decided to expand the list of supported networks by releasing the BLU S1.

BLU S1 Specs

Judging by the specs sheet, the S1 is located somewhere in the mid-range section of the BLU’s portfolio. The handset houses a 5.2-inch screen panel, delivering 720p viewing experience. Powered by a MediaTek 6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, the phone offers 2GBRAM and 16GB of built-in storage with microSD card support and runs Android Nougat out of box. Optics are represented by a 13MP primary camera with flash and a 5MP selfie-friendly sensor on the front. Kept alive by a 2,800 mAh battery, the S1 packs a fingerprint scanner similar to that found in the Galaxy S6. Perhaps such tech parameters aren’t particularly impressive, but they’re certainly powerful enough for a majority of average users.

Amazon’s deals

Moving on the BLU S1 deals, the device is subject to the Sprint’s Postpaid Bring Your Own Device promo, within which you can grab the phone completely out of charge. To achieve the goal, you simply need to purchase the BLU S1 at Amazon and activate it on Sprint. After registration you will be granted with a special Visa gift card worth $200, which is enough to cover the overall cost of the device.

Speaking of Amazon, this isn’t the only promo the big retailer prepared for us. If for some reason Sprint isn’t your favorite carrier, you can also buy the unlocked variant of the BLU S1 (which is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile) with a $50 discount. This means that instead of paying $179.99, the handset may be yours for $129.99.

Although both promos are of limited time character, in the case of the latter you need to act incredibly fast, as it expires today at 11:59 PM.
